Dr Margherita Harris

Margherita Harris is currently a SOCRATES fellow. Previously, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Philosophy of Science and a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method at the London School of Economics, where she completed her PhD at the end of 2021.

Margherita Harris' research interests lie in the philosophy of science and epistemology, with a special focus on modeling under uncertainty, robustness analysis, and climate science. She also has a strong interest in the philosophy of statistics and its intersection with epistemology and the philosophy of science.
