David Peterson, PhD

David Peterson received his PhD from Northwestern University and was a postdoc at UCLA before joining the sociology department at Purdue. He studies the nexus of scientific practice, emerging technologies, and expert authority.

While at Hannover, Peterson will work on his next book manuscript. The planned book draws on multiple case studies to investigate what happens when the tools of science are turned on the practices and products of science.
